The funding arm of the Neurosciences Institute in La Jolla, which Nobel laureate Gerald Edelman presided over. A single grant of $250,000 on 1 February 2003, the third largest in the readable schedules.

From the C.O.U.Q. Foundation's IRS Form 990-PF filings (EFTA00224262), tax years ending 2001 to 2007. Jeffrey Epstein is named Pres/Dir of that foundation. Every figure was read from the page image, and each schedule adds up to its own printed total. A grant marked Scholarship is a payment made through the institution; an Unrestricted one is money for it. The returns name no individual recipient for either. Where the purpose column is blank, the return left it blank. This is not a complete total: the corpus holds no schedules for this foundation outside those years, and three other Epstein-linked charities have returns nobody has read.
