International lawyer, author, and Holocaust survivor (1929 to 2015). Born in Bialystok, Poland, Samuel Pisar survived Auschwitz, Majdanek, and Dachau, later becoming a prominent New York and Paris attorney, an adviser to the Kennedy administration, and a UNESCO Goodwill Ambassador. He was for decades the personal lawyer and confidant of media proprietor Robert Maxwell. After Robert Maxwell's 1991 death, Jeffrey Epstein moved into a role advising the Maxwell family on their finances (see the FBI interview of James Hatt, EFTA01246381). Pisar appears in Jeffrey Epstein's address book, and Epstein's JPMorgan account paid Pisar's law office. His daughter Leah Pisar corresponded directly with Ghislaine Maxwell in 2002 to 2003. As a matter of public record (not established by the EFTA corpus), his widow Judith Pisar's son from a prior marriage is Antony Blinken, later U.S. Secretary of State; the EFTA corpus contains no communication or transaction linking Blinken to Jeffrey Epstein, only press clippings that name him in his official capacity.
