French-born New York interior designer hired by Jeffrey Epstein in 2010 to decorate his USVI island residence and Manhattan home. FBI FD-302 interview (Nov 2010) reveals Couturier was asked to design a bedroom with 'decor and furniture appropriate for teenage girls, with pink furnishings and bunk beds.' Jeffrey Epstein told him 'he has girls coming to spend time with him in the island.' Couturier also observed nude photographs of young women aged 15-20 in Jeffrey Epstein's Manhattan massage room. A former associate (name redacted) told Couturier 'I have seen him do horrific things.' Couturier ultimately declined the project, citing moral discomfort, and settled a $50K deposit dispute. FBI requested his interview as part of the Alfredo Rodriguez obstruction case (72-MM-113327). First met Jeffrey Epstein 1985-1988 through Ysabel Goldsmith.
