French fashion photographer (1943-2022), star shooter for Vogue and Harper's Bazaar and personal photographer to Princess Diana. Died March 31, 2022. Appears in 33 EFTA documents as a fashion-world social contact in Jeffrey Epstein's orbit: St. Barths holiday lists, Peggy Siegal's society letters to Jeffrey Epstein, party guest lists (alongside Frederic Fekkai), and, most notably, in emails from young models corresponding with Jeffrey Epstein about their casting schedules and travel. In her May 21, 2026 House Oversight transcribed interview, Sarah Kellen testified that Frederic Fekkai introduced her to Demarchelier and that at his studio he photographed her and 'walked over to me with his pants down'; of the encounter she said 'nothing happened, but he tried.' He was not included in the Committee's June 4, 2026 DOJ criminal referral (which named only Philip Levine and Frederic Fekkai), as he had died in 2022. He had previously denied allegations of sexual misconduct made by numerous models in a 2018 Boston Globe investigation.

- House Oversight transcribed interview of Sarah Kellen (May 21, 2026, pp.33, 95): Kellen testified that Frederic Fekkai introduced her to Demarchelier, 'a very famous fashion photographer' - and that at his studio 'he did photos of me and then walked over to me with his pants down.' Asked later to list who abused her, she named Jeffrey Epstein, Ghislaine Maxwell, Philip Levine and Frederic Fekkai, then added of Demarchelier: 'nothing happened, but he tried.' He was NOT included in Chairman Comer's June 4, 2026 DOJ referral, he died on March 31, 2022. Demarchelier had denied earlier sexual-misconduct allegations from numerous models reported by The Boston Globe in 2018.
