An FBI proffer of a former model (EFTA00159321, duplicated at EFTA00090773) states 'ZEMPOLI was trying to buy Elite Models with EPSTEIN. EPSTEIN introduced MELANIA TRUMP to DONALD TRUMP.' A separate 2019 FBI interview describes him as 'sleazy' and says he dated models. He forwarded UN material to Jeffrey Epstein in September 2010. He was separately accused as a 'killer' alongside Russian oligarch Mikhail Prokhorov in emails sent to Jeffrey Epstein in October 2018. In an April 2026 House Oversight transcribed interview, former Attorney General Pam Bondi was asked whether the Justice Department had investigated him and declined to say either way.

- Pam Bondi, House Oversight transcribed interview, 14 April 2026: Rep. Melanie Stansbury asked about 'specific individuals who were named in the files as potential perpetrators of crimes associated with Epstein' and read a list that included Zampolli. - Zampolli was named to three other House Oversight witnesses and none confirmed a connection: Doug Band said 'I met him many, many years ago. I don't have a relationship with him'; Lesley Groff, Jeffrey Epstein's longtime scheduler, said 'That name does not sound familiar to me'; Kathryn Ruemmler answered no.
