Special assistant to President Clinton who reportedly arranged Epstein's White House visits. DOJ documents confirm an ongoing relationship: in July 2009 Lesley Groff forwarded Epstein a message that 'Mark Middleton Called to see how you were' (EFTA02439545). In July 2013 Middleton received a photograph from Epstein and Groff asked if he wanted to share contact info — Epstein replied 'yes' (EFTA00645474). Found dead on a ranch in Perryville, Arkansas on May 7, 2022 at age 59. Cause of death: hanging combined with a gunshot wound. Ruled suicide. Family sued to prevent release of crime scene photos.
