Former Harvard College Professor of Psychology and Human Evolutionary Biology. Ran the Cognitive Evolution Laboratory studying moral cognition in primates and humans. Found guilty of scientific misconduct in eight instances by Harvard in August 2010 — fabrication/falsification of research data. Used Alan Dershowitz as attorney during investigation and turned to Epstein for strategic advice. Epstein responded: 'I went to Cambridge Sunday, just stay quiet.' Pitched Epstein $80,000 to fund research genotyping children for serotonin/dopamine gene expression and identifying genetic markers predictive of psychopathy — directly connecting to Epstein's eugenics program. Remained on Epstein's Harvard visit lists through 2014 alongside Summers, Nowak, Minsky, Dershowitz. Part of the Edge Foundation / John Brockman network. In 2013, forwarded Epstein a NYT article on Eliot Spitzer's comeback: 'the FIVE year cycle for return, as you have noted!' — suggesting Epstein advised on post-scandal rehabilitation timelines.
