• EFTA01108922 (14pp, DataSet 9): his complete 2011 financial position, marked "DRAFT - Subject to Review & Confirmation by his CFO Office", held in Jeffrey Epstein's files and annotated by hand. Net worth $3.37bn; 2011 receipts $159,236,165; art and jewellery $115.97m; charitable gifts $19,159,532. The annotations normalise the income to $150,040,033 by removing two lines the document itself calls rebalancing rather than distributions, split the $41,582,438 private-equity total into co-investment and Credit Opportunity Fund components, and build an estimate of ongoing core personal expenses totalling $40.0m a year before art, jewellery and taxes.

• EFTA02731689 (DANY call notes, June 2023): DANY had closed its inquiry as to two victims; a third victim's case remained open, with DANY looking into one incident of sexual assault in NYC in 2001 by Black. The notes describe her as credible in part because of similarity to another allegation (biting), but state charges seemed unlikely while the investigation continued.

• EFTA00590667/EFTA01128746/EFTA01190807/EFTA01200840 (Aug-Oct 2015): Nardello & Co. conducted covert one-party-consent recordings of Black's meetings with women at Four Seasons, Le Bernardin, The Modern, King Cole Bar. Transcripts routed through Paul Weiss (Karp/Reisner) to Jeffrey Epstein, who asked for 'sureveillance? report also bill to date?' (EFTA02488776). Ganieva told Black in recording (EFTA01128746): 'Yes, I met with him and when we came to his place, this girl, she told me that you have to understand that these men, they need a few women a day, if you don't do it, they're not going to be happy.'
• EFTA02470157 (Mar 3, 2016): Karp asked Paul Weiss to set up $2M escrow fund for 'Leon' - 'payments would be made monthly pursuant to a contract with an individual.' Intermediated through Jeffrey Epstein. Paul Weiss declined; Jeffrey Epstein said he would pursue an alternate arrangement. • March 2026: Wigdor LLP filed anti-SLAPP suit citing Karp-Jeffrey Epstein emails about visa revocation and Nardello surveillance as evidence of 'decade-long campaign of intimidation.' • EFTA02857849 (Aug 21, 2020): SDNY FBI 302, Brazilian victim met BLACK at 'a big house,' saw him four times in 2004. Described physical details: tall, heavy, large stomach, gray hair, big nose, mole on face, nose operation causing heavy breathing during sex. BLACK's secretary arranged visits.

• EFTA01927709/EFTA01922742 (May 2014): Ito-Jeffrey Epstein "slush fund" email thread names Leon Black as funding source. Ito: "The slush fund, if it's at MIT is easy... Will it be come coming from Leon Black? How much?" (May 2). Jeffrey Epstein: "we should set acct for ito slush" (May 2). Ito sent "Slush fund paperwork" with "Leon Black letter.docx" attachment (May 8, EFTA02365699). Ito confirmed receipt: "$500K came into my slush fund account. Thanks! Should I thank Leon Black?" Jeffrey Epstein: "Yes" (May 29)
• EFTA02731082 (SDNY prosecution memo): Victim directed by Jeffrey Epstein to massage Leon Black at NY residence (2011-2012). Black "began initiating sexual contact" - victim ran out. Jeffrey Epstein "laughed it off." A second woman was also directed to massage Black and "provided Black with oral sex during the massage." Corroborates FBI call notes (EFTA02731488) and Wigdor memo. CITATION CORRECTED 2026-08-08: published citing EFTA00022461, which resolves to parent EFTA00022456 - a 2021 USAO/CBP WebEx email thread containing none of this. The SDNY prosecution memo is EFTA02731082; every quoted fragment in this claim was located verbatim in EFTA02731082.
• EFTA02731082 (SDNY prosecution memo, footnote 59): a SECOND victim independently corroborates, "recalled Epstein asking her to massage Leon Black and Jes Staley, both of whom engaged in sexual contact with her against her will during the massages." When she complained about the sexual contact, Jeffrey Epstein "laughed and told [her] that it was up to her whether to engage in sex during those massages." This is now three independent victims describing sexual assault by Black. CITATION CORRECTED 2026-08-08 (#1042): published citing EFTA00022461, which resolves to parent EFTA00022456, a 2021 USAO/CBP WebEx email thread containing none of it. Both fragments are verbatim in EFTA02731082; the quotations were also trimmed to end at "against her will" and "engage in sex", which is why an exact-match check could not find them.
• doe-v-jpmorgan Doc 181-att1: JPMorgan $290M settlement explicitly EXCLUDES Leon Black and Jes Staley from the release, preserving victims' right to sue both individually. After Jeffrey Epstein left JPM, JPMorgan bankers continued meeting Jeffrey Epstein on behalf of Leon Black's accounts (2014-2017).
• EFTA02731023: Senate Finance Committee (Jul 24, 2023): Investigating $158 million paid to Jeffrey Epstein for tax/estate planning. Jeffrey Epstein structured trusts to avoid gift/estate tax on $2 billion transferred to Black's children. Black "overpaid income from assets placed in a trust" to keep billions outside taxable estate. Jeffrey Epstein falsely told Black payments were tax deductible ("sixty cent dollars"). Black refused to answer Committee questions. Committee also investigating Private Placement Life Insurance (PPLI) tax shelters.
• Judge Clarke ruling (Apr 23, 2026, 76 pages): Sanctions against Doe and former counsel Wigdor/Christensen for 'serious, sanctionable misconduct' (Christensen 'repeatedly lied to court,' directed Doe to destroy social media account; Doe 'falsified' 3 of 11 sonogram images in her journals). • Black's lawyer Susan Estrich sent an ex parte letter to Judge Rakoff (Feb 21, 2024), outside public view and not docketed, alleging fraud by Jane Doe, according to The Guardian. Brad Edwards (class counsel for JPMorgan Jeffrey Epstein victims) and Brittany Henderson sent a follow-up sealed letter (Feb 26, 2024) calling Doe's account inconsistent and questioning whether she was a genuine victim, per the same reporting. Result: Rakoff rescinded Doe's $2.5m allocation (Jul 31, 2024). Doe received a $200k replacement settlement (Aug 21, 2024). (Guardian; the sealed letters themselves are not in the EFTA corpus. • Black sent personal appeal to Judge Rakoff (Jul 19, 2024) invoking his father's death: 'Not since my father's death 49 years ago have I felt such pain.' His father Eli Black (United Brands/Chiquita CEO) had jumped from the 44th floor of the Pan Am Building on Feb 3, 1975, after authorizing a $2.5m Honduras bribe, and Jed Rakoff was the young federal prosecutor who charged United Brands. • EFTA02213016 / EFTA02213184 (May 10–19, 2017): On May 10, Jeffrey Epstein confirmed a lunch with Leon Black at 1:30pm (email from Melanie Spinella, Executive Assistant to Leon D. Black, Apollo Management). On May 19, Leon Black was first appointment of the day, '8:30am BREAKFAST w/Leon Black' - on Jeffrey Epstein's official daily schedule alongside Ehud Barak 4pm, Paul Barrett (JPMorgan) 5pm, Kathy Ruemmler + Brad Karp 5:30pm.
• Subpoenaed by the House Oversight Committee (June 26, 2026) in an unusual escalation after he refused to discuss nondisclosure agreements signed with women, some linked to Jeffrey Epstein. (external source, not in EFTA corpus)
• EFTA00224262 (IRS Form 990-PF, Y/E 2/29/00): Leon Black contributed $166,667 to The C.O.U.Q. Foundation, Inc., Jeffrey Epstein's private foundation, listed c/o Apollo Management, LP. John J. Hannan ($166,667) and William Mack ($166,666) gave the same year from the same address - one third of $500,000 each. Jeffrey E. Epstein himself gave $75,000; total for the year $575,000. Read from the page image; the schedule reconciles to its printed total. Note the direction: this is money going INTO Jeffrey Epstein's foundation in FY2000, not the advisory fees Black paid him from 2012 onward.
• EFTA01109187 (12 Dec 2013): Letter from Raich Ende Malter & Co. LLP, certified public accountants, to the IRS regarding Leon D. Black and Debra R. Black's Form 1040 for 2012, arguing that a 2011 overpayment of $10,156,318 should have been credited to their 2012 estimated tax. Signed by Thomas Turrin, CPA, copied to Leon D. Black. The letter is in the EFTA corpus, i.e. among Jeffrey Epstein's files.
• Found in contempt of Congress by the full House (Sept 16, 2026). The House Oversight and Government Reform Committee voted unanimously on Sept 15 to report H. Res. 1543, and the House agreed to it the next day without objection, by unanimous consent. The resolution finds him in contempt on two counts, for failing to comply with a deposition subpoena and with a subpoena for the production of nondisclosure agreements, both issued June 26, 2026, and directs the Speaker to certify the Committee's report to the U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia under 2 U.S.C. 192 and 194. He did not appear for the Sept 3 deposition and sued the Committee that day to block both subpoenas. A certification is a referral, not a charge: whether to prosecute is the U.S. Attorney's decision.
