Landon Thomas Jr. was a New York Times financial reporter who maintained a close personal friendship with Epstein for years after his 2008 conviction, regularly exchanging emails about financial markets and personal matters. The EFTA documents show Thomas using Epstein as a financial source, making inappropriate jokes about massages, and being invited to Epstein's New Mexico ranch. Thomas addressed Epstein with casual familiarity (calling him 'boy') and continued professional correspondence through at least 2018, signing emails with his NYT title while communicating to Epstein's personal Gmail.
