Private investigator retained through Jeffrey Epstein's counsel Darren Indyke in the months before Jeffrey Epstein's July 2019 arrest. Chief Investigator and Director of Operations at J.P.D. Consultants, Inc., 315 Madison Avenue, New York, licensed by the New York State Department of State. His April 2019 reports were addressed to Darren Indyke and marked 'Privileged & Confidential Work-Product', with Jeffrey Epstein named as the client, and included background checks on named individuals (EFTA00801665, EFTA02634644). A Jeffrey Epstein bank statement records a $15,000 outgoing transfer to his account in April 2019 (EFTA01288348). He is named as a party on JPMorgan Chase's $1.08 billion Suspicious Activity Report (EFTA01648787) and appears in a JPMorgan account listing alongside Darren Indyke, Michelle Saipher, Jeffrey Schantz and Richard Kahn (EFTA00151209). A DOJ analysis document marked confidential pursuant to Fed. R. Crim. P. 6(e) describes him as a retired New York police officer turned private investigator and states that he was convicted in 2016 of illegally paying to access restricted information about witnesses in criminal defense cases (EFTA01681865); the OCR of that passage is interleaved with an adjacent table and the payment date it gives does not match the bank statement, so the date should be read from the statement rather than from the analysis.
