Billionaire heir to Getty oil fortune (J. Paul Getty's son), composer, and amateur evolutionary biologist. Net worth ~$2B. Introduced to Epstein by Robert Trivers in November 2013, maintained regular email correspondence through at least April 2019. Co-funded Trivers' sprinting/symmetry research alongside Epstein. When told Epstein was 'the same Jeffrey accused of relations with minors,' Getty reportedly responded 'well, we ALL have similar kinds of problems' — equating his own secret family (three daughters with mistress Cynthia Beck) with Epstein's sex offenses against minors. Met Epstein in person at his Pacific Heights home in March 2014. Getty shared his 'Free Growth' economic theory manuscripts with Epstein, who provided detailed critiques. Acknowledged alongside Epstein in a peer-reviewed paper on Jamaican sprinters.
