French private chef who cooked for Jeffrey Epstein and travelled with him aboard the Gulfstream N908JE. He appears as a named passenger on 32 flight legs between October 6, 1996 and November 29, 1997, on 22 of which Ghislaine Maxwell also flew. Pilot David Rodgers' flight-log summary identifies him only as "DIDIER who was a chef" (EFTA00159180). Palm Beach house manager Juan Alessi, in a 2005 sworn statement to Palm Beach Police, recalled "another French chef, Didier (phonetic); I don't know his last name" and described a "gourmet chef that he would travel with him," which matches the flight-log pattern. Jeffrey Epstein's 2012 daily schedules still refer to "Didier the chef" coming to the New York townhouse to cook, and two December 18, 2012 emails to bookkeeper Bella Klein carry "Didier Cazaudumec" as their only surviving text. His surname is rendered inconsistently across sources (Cazaudumec, Cazaudum, CAZBUDUMEC), reflecting OCR damage and handwritten pilot logbook entries. No allegation of wrongdoing appears against him in the corpus.

Key Findings

  • Named on 32 legs of Jeffrey Epstein's Gulfstream G-1159B (N908JE) between October 6, 1996 and November 29, 1997; Jeffrey Epstein was aboard all 32 and Ghislaine Maxwell 22.
  • Pilot David Rodgers' flight-log summary for Flight 934 (January 5, 1997, PBI to EWR) lists "EPSTEIN, MAXWELL, DONALD TRUMP, MARK EPSTEIN, DIDIER who was a chef" (EFTA00159180).
  • Juan Alessi's 2005 sworn statement to Palm Beach Police describes "another French chef, Didier (phonetic); I don't know his last name" among the household chefs, alongside "a gourmet chef that he would travel with him" (Alessi sworn statement, Palm Beach PD public records request 17-295).
  • Jeffrey Epstein's December 11, 2012 schedule lists "Didier the chef to come over and prepare lunch and dinner" and "(Didier to cook lunch)" before a Lincoln Center Nutcracker outing (EFTA00297983, EFTA00399678, EFTA00399801).
  • Two December 18, 2012 emails addressed to Jeffrey Epstein's bookkeeper Bella Klein survive only as the name "Didier Cazaudumec," the rest of the body being blank or redacted (EFTA00557619, EFTA02318707).
  • Handwritten pilot logbook entries transcribed as "JE, GM, DIDIER CAZAUDUMEC" and "JE, GM, DIDIER CAZBUDUMEC" corroborate the flight-log spreadsheet (EFTA02846460).
