Pamur Anstalt

Liechtenstein Anstalt; sole owner of the Bin Ennakhil palace, Marrakech, Morocco, since 1990

Companies and shell entitiesMoney documented

Also written: Pamur SA

A Liechtenstein asset-holding company (Anstalt) that has owned the Bin Ennakhil palace in Marrakech, Morocco since 1990, twenty-three years before any documented contact with Jeffrey Epstein. Its shares were held by Arcana Treuhand Anstalt (Vaduz) as trustee until a 2013 transfer to Rilton Investments Ltd, and Khan Stiftung took legal and beneficial title to the shares in March 2019 as Jeffrey Epstein's Haze Trust negotiated to buy the property. Jeffrey Epstein never owned or controlled Pamur Anstalt; he was only ever a prospective buyer of its shares.

Appearing in this correspondence does not make Pamur Anstalt an Epstein entity (#815 trap): it held the property for 23 years before any contact with him. See data/people/marc-leon.json and data/organizations/haze-trust.json (the buy-side vehicle).

Ownership since 1990"Since 1990, the property had only one owner, Pamur Anstalt. Directors of Pamur probably changed several times." (EFTA02312276, and Bates-adjacent copies EFTA02313344, EFTA02313783, EFTA02313921)
The chain, stated by the broker"The palace is owned by Pamur Anstalt (trustee Arcana Treuhand Anstalt – Vaduz). Pamur Anstalt is owned by Rilton Investments ltd (trustee AMG Trust (BVI) Corp)." - Marc Leon, Managing Director, Kensington Finest Properties, 9 Jul 2015 (EFTA02718203)
Title documents forwarded during due diligenceAttachments listed: "Statutes of Pamur Anstalt SA Liechtenstein / Titre deed of the property in Marrakech owned by Pamur Sa / Building permit / Residential permit" (EFTA02313589)
A 2017 legal memo warned against the structureA tax/AML advisory memo to Jeffrey Epstein describes a "Proposed Acquisition ... by Means of a Purchase from Rilton Investments Ltd, a BVI International Business Company, of 100% of the Shares of Pamur Anstalt, a Liechtenstein anstalt that owns Bin Ennakhil, for a purchase price of 25,000,000 Euro," and recommends against the structure, questioning why a US buyer would acquire the property indirectly through a chain of shell entities (EFTA01036804, EFTA01036805).
