The hedge fund Glenn Dubin ran. A Form ADV Schedule D in the corpus lists "HIGHBRIDGE CAPITAL MANAGEMENT, LLC" as a related person of a registered broker-dealer, and a separate filing states that "Highbridge is also an affiliate of J.P. Morgan Chase & Co." Court filings in the JPMorgan litigation describe Jeffrey Epstein entrusting millions to Glenn Dubin and, with Jes Staley, laying "some of the early groundwork" for JPMorgan's move on the fund, which the same filing calls "another big financial payday for JP Morgan".
The account of how JPMorgan came to the fund is pleading, not proof. It is quoted here as an allegation made in a filing, which is what it is. Nothing here states that the fund itself did anything improper.
